Terms of serviceThe agreement between your team and SnackRoster
These terms govern the use of snackroster.com and of the SnackRoster application. They are written to be read by a volunteer, not only by a lawyer. Last updated March 2, 2026.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, by using the SnackRoster application, or by sending a request through the contact form on this website, you agree to these terms. If you accept them on behalf of a team, a club or a league, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not create an account and do not use the service. We may update these terms as the product changes, and account owners receive an email when a material change takes effect.
2. What the service is
SnackRoster is a hosted web application that builds and maintains season rotations for youth sports teams. It imports a roster and a game schedule, distributes snack duty, carpool driving and volunteer field jobs across the families on that roster, publishes the resulting grid to coaches, managers and parents, and sends reminders by text message, email and calendar feed. It handles swap requests between families and updates the grid, the calendar feed and pending reminders when a swap is accepted. SnackRoster is not a registration platform, not a payment processor for league fees, and not a background check provider. It does not supervise children and it does not verify the identity of the people a team adds to its roster.
3. Accounts and eligibility
Accounts are for adults aged 18 or over who are acting as a team parent, coach, club administrator or league volunteer. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com if you believe an account has been used without permission. Manager access can be transferred when a volunteer hands the job to somebody else, and an account owner may remove a manager at any time.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use SnackRoster only for coordinating the volunteer work of a youth sports team or organization. You will not use it to send marketing messages, political messages or any communication unrelated to team duty. You will not upload personal information about children beyond what a duty card needs, will not attempt to access another organization's roster, will not probe or attack the service, will not resell access, and will not use automated means to extract data belonging to other customers. Reminder volume is generous but is intended for team coordination: abnormal messaging patterns may be rate limited to protect the service and its cost base.
5. Subscription and billing
SnackRoster is sold on three monthly plans, priced in United States dollars: One Team at $8 per month for a single roster, Club at $29 per month for up to 25 rosters, and League at $89 per month for an unlimited number of rosters within one organization. Prices exclude any applicable sales tax or VAT, which is added where the law requires it. Billing is monthly in advance from the date the subscription starts, on the same day of each following month. Families and players are never charged: the plan covers the whole roster. If a price changes, existing subscribers are told at least 30 days ahead and the new price applies from the next billing date.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time from the billing page in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month, and the service keeps running until then, so a team that cancels in June still finishes June. We do not pro rate partial months. Rosters and past rotations remain available for 30 days after a subscription ends so that you can export them, and are deleted after that period. If a charge was taken in error, write to us within 60 days and we will refund it.
7. Your data
Rosters, schedules, rotations, allergy notes and message logs created by your organization belong to your organization. We hold them to run the service on your behalf, and we do not sell them, mine them for advertising or share them with another customer. You can export any roster or rotation as a CSV file at any time. We may use aggregated, de identified statistics, such as the proportion of duty slots covered across all teams, to describe how the product performs. Personal information sent through this website is covered by the privacy policy.
8. Availability and support
We aim for 99.9 percent monthly availability outside announced maintenance, and we schedule maintenance away from weekend game windows. Support is offered by email on United States business days, with a target first reply within one business day, and extended coverage across the opening weekend of the fall and spring seasons. Reminder delivery depends on carriers and email providers we do not control, so we cannot guarantee that every message arrives at the second it was scheduled.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MLJ, SASU disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, that a reminder will always be read, or that a rotation will always suit the preferences of every family on a roster. The grid is a coordination tool, not a guarantee that a volunteer will turn up.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MLJ, SASU is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for loss of profits, for loss of goodwill, or for the cost of substitute arrangements, arising from the use of or inability to use the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for SnackRoster in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify MLJ, SASU against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, from your unlawful use of the service, or from content you upload that infringes a third party right or a privacy law. We will tell you promptly of any such claim and will not settle it without your agreement, which you will not withhold unreasonably.
12. Changes, suspension and termination
We may improve, change or retire parts of the service, and we will give account owners reasonable notice before removing a feature they rely on. We may suspend an account that breaches section 4, that is used unlawfully, or that has an unpaid invoice more than 14 days overdue, after warning the account owner by email. You may stop using the service at any time under section 6.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France, unless a mandatory consumer protection rule in your country of residence provides otherwise. If any clause is held invalid, the rest of the terms remain in force.
